This little corner of the internet contains a collection of assorted writings made with the intent to connect the tool that is the World Wide Web to the expression of The Human Condition.
I am often inspired by the notoriously chaotic webpages of the 90s-00s specifically because of the inherent humanity that is expressed within that mess.
In this stage, the internet was a novel playground of personal html web pages--
Geocities being one of the web hosting services that users could publish their websites onto.
Unfortunately, Geocities has long been taken down, but there are several places on the internet today that continue the trend of do-it-yourself webpages. My favorite is Neocities, where one iteration of this project is published.
Many personal webpages on Neocities include a Home page, an About Me section, a Journal/Blog/Diary, and sometimes even a Gallery for artistically-inclined users; these are the categories in which the language game is played, with an additional theme of assorted online features and experiences.
This project is a combination of my passion for technology, psychology, poetry and visual arts, and will serve as a stepping stone for future online projects.
